Rendezvous

29 Rooms

See below, photos from my experience at Refinery 29's event in Brooklyn, NY:

XYZT: Abstract Landscapes

"Step into imaginary territory of lines, dots, and letters, and immerse yourself into this virtual playground of four dimensions: X (horizontal), Y (vertical), Z (depth), and T (time)"

Courtesy of Artechouse, "a new age destination for arts, music, film, theater and technology" in DC. The XYZT exhibition was everything that my dreams are made of. I visited twice during the summer - both experiences were equally as rewarding. Located in a cold underground showroom, visiting this exhibit felt like an escape, like going to a whole new world. XYZT was designed by French contemporary digital artists and multimedia choreographers, Adrien M & Claire B.

The Portrait Gallery

The Portrait Gallery is hands-down one of my favorite places in DC. A great collection of modern and contemporary art can be found there and not to mention, that courtyard is just to die for!

Day of the Solar Eclipse

A truly transcendental day! Took a swim, had a nice lunch picnic and watched the solar eclipse (through my camera flip screen, of course)

A Day at the Chanticleer

Wandered here on a sweltering hot and humid day. And what a charming discovery to say the least. One of my favorite highlights would have to be the Minder Ruin Garden, that was created using pieces from a dismantled home (from 1925!) along with carved marble, granite and other stone pieces.

Chua Bo De Buddhist Temple

Found my wardrobe choice, to be in unexpected harmony with this mural we passed by on our taco run. This mural along the wall of Chua Bo De Buddhist Temple stands out on Washington Ave. Look at all the colors!

It's a Wedding!

Many thanks to my friend Tiffany, who invited me along to witness such a beautiful matrimonial ceremony and reception. The stunning and dreamy ambiance was just divine!
