Dots Obsession—Love Transformed into Dots

My favorite of the Infinity Mirror Rooms, Kusama's "Dots Obsession - Love Transformed into Dots" is a pink, fantastical dream. And just our luck to for the rare chance to experience this artwork in such a personal and intimate setting.

First Day of Fall

Pictured in front of Jeff Koon's "Split Rocker" sculpture at the Glenstone Museum in Potomac, MD. Photos don't do this piece justice - there is so much detail to be seen in person. PS. Photos of myself taken by mother dearest!

Botanical Gardens

A botanical dream. Many reasons make this such a beautiful place. So much to explore here! Pics from our adventure above!

Night Florals

Different floral species are photographed just as dusk settles over the sky. Their vibrant colors are even more animated and electrifying as they are illuminated against the night backdrop.

XYZT: Abstract Landscapes

"Step into imaginary territory of lines, dots, and letters, and immerse yourself into this virtual playground of four dimensions: X (horizontal), Y (vertical), Z (depth), and T (time)"

Courtesy of Artechouse, "a new age destination for arts, music, film, theater and technology" in DC. The XYZT exhibition was everything that my dreams are made of. I visited twice during the summer - both experiences were equally as rewarding. Located in a cold underground showroom, visiting this exhibit felt like an escape, like going to a whole new world. XYZT was designed by French contemporary digital artists and multimedia choreographers, Adrien M & Claire B.

The Portrait Gallery

The Portrait Gallery is hands-down one of my favorite places in DC. A great collection of modern and contemporary art can be found there and not to mention, that courtyard is just to die for!

Day of the Solar Eclipse

A truly transcendental day! Took a swim, had a nice lunch picnic and watched the solar eclipse (through my camera flip screen, of course)

Location Scout: Horticultural Center

Wandering and exploring aimlessly does not go in vain, especially when you stumble across a location like the Horticultural Center. Typically, this space is an event venue that is used for weddings, banquets and receptions. However, it was just my luck to have the place all to myself for an afternoon! I kind of just wandered in and nobody told me to leave, so I quietly floated around, basking in the ambiance.
